Meet the Director - Keeley Harris
I was raised in the Snoqualmie Valley and have always known that one day I would open my own preschool program. I have worked with children in various educational settings since 2014, with 5 of those years being in a Montessori classroom. With a Bachelors degree in education, continued hours of additional training and many years of experience, I am proud to be opening a program that I have put my whole heart into. I am so excited to begin this journey with your family and to create an environment where your child will thrive in all areas of life! I believe in the importance of creating lasting relationships with every family that is a part of my school, and strive for each child to develop a lifelong love for learning.
Small Group Learning
Mountain Valley Preschool runs as a single classroom. There are many benefits of small classrooms in early childhood education such as…
More personalized attention and learning for each child
Increased participation and social confidence
Greater sense of connection and community amongst children
More personalized feedback for each family
A calm and peaceful environment for all children
What Does Work Time Look Like?
During work time, children will work in small groups, in pairs, or individually. Children are free to do whichever activity they feel called to and for however long they would like during the time. Each child will also have opportunities each day to work one on one with the teacher to encourage the development of certain skills.
